I love Jesus, I love people, and I genuinely believe that no story is beyond God's ability to redeem. Mine certainly wasn't. For more than 25 years I've had the privilege of sharing stories of hope around the work through television, radio, documentaries, podcasts, speaking, and writing. Along the way I've worked in church ministry as an assistant pastor, founded and lead a non profit 'Brave Enough' and served Jesus for decades in Christian media for various global television, radio and podcast networks, hosting a number of different programs. Some of my adventures have included hosting a national radio show, presenting the award-winning documentary series 'Beyond the Search', and hosting 'Brave Conversations' podcast on KLOVE Podcasts in the USA. My reading plans on YouVersion have reached people in more than 135 countries. This October (God willing) I will complete my advanced degree, a Graduate Certificate in Neuroscience and Mental Health, to sit alongside my existing qualifications in counselling, grief and loss, wellbeing and neuroscience coaching, because I love to help people flourish! But honestly? Those are just the places where God has let me tell my story for His glory. The story itself has been shaped through childhood trauma, anxiety, burnout, grief, losing our first baby Jackson, ministry & leadership experiences, and discovering that Jesus meets us most beautifully in the places we'd rather run from and hide. I've learned that healing isn't about pretending we're okay—it's about being brave enough bring our whole selves to God in Brave honest moments and allowing Him to meet us there. Let me tell you a secret: In 25+ years of God adventures, I've almost never felt ready. But I've learned that He doesn't need me polished, He just needs me to show up, and have brave, honest moments with Him, myself, and others — to be real and do life together. And the same is true for you. You're already loved, so come as you are....After all, the polished part was never really working anyway. Everybody has a story. Your story matters....emerge stronger and help the next person up! God designed you for goodness, wellness and greatness That's why I'm so passionate. If you've spent any time with me, you'll know I don't take myself too seriously. I love a good laugh, I cry at beautiful moments, and I'm pretty sure God has a sense of humor...He somehow keeps handing the microphone to a girl who's more likely to fumble ...or prank you, than impress! — But here we are!" At home, you'll usually find me with my husband Mark (who I affectionately call "Spunky Bum"). Cheering on our three amazing grown children, Hannah, Adam and Logan and remembering our precious son Jackson. But if you can't find me spending time with family, writing, preaching, filming, or connecting on ActsSocial, I'm probably by the beach with Jesus and an almond chai latte, in my studio designing faith-inspired wearables, getting messy with a canvas, laughing out loud with friends -or plotting my next prank!
