Sometimes I catch myself wanting to jump to the next level before I’m really ready for it. I want to move, to prove I’ve outgrown where I am. But, I’ve learned the hard way... if my mind isn’t open, I’m not going anywhere.

If I can’t picture the future I say I want, how could I possibly step into it? When I cling to the way things are, growth doesn’t show up. I stay stuck. It’s a strange kind of comfort... the safety of the familiar, even when I know I’m capable of more.

But real change, the kind that lasts, doesn’t happen without a shift in mindset first. I have to see it before I live it. That clarity isn’t flashy, but it makes all the difference.

I remember: sit with where you are, open your thinking, then let the next step reveal itself. There’s no rush.

A lot of Christian founders playing small in the name of humility.

But there’s a difference between humility… and avoiding your assignment.

I broke this down in a short 10-minute episode on what it really means to take dominion in business without apology.

    Here it is:

What if they are not playing small out of humility but out of not know how to play big; maybe lack of ambition or even capacity and capabilities... just thinking out loud bro

That's when they need to surround themselves with other's that share thier journey and can pour into them. Study, listen to podcasts and read on the subject and take action every day to develop their capacity and skillset. If they do that, each day, they will make HUGE progress over time.

        What Authority Really Means

I’ve learned that real authority isn’t about being everywhere or having the most followers. It’s not about being the loudest voice in the room, either.
