Nothing in your life has ever been random. Not the heartbreak that shook you, not the opportunity that slipped away, not the doors that closed without warning while you stood there trying to understand why. Even the moments you replay, wishing you saw it coming, were never accidents. You thought you were unlucky. You thought you chose wrong. But every encounter revealed something. Every ending exposed something. Every disappointment stripped away what you were never meant to carry forward. Some people came to awaken you, some to stretch your boundaries, some to show you exactly what you will never tolerate again. And yes, some came and left pain behind, but even that pain had purpose, because what hurt you also clarified you, what broke you also strengthened your standards, and what felt like loss was really making room. You were never being punished, you were being refined. Growth does not always feel graceful while it is happening, it feels like confusion, it feels like loss, it feels like everything shifting at once. But nothing was wasted. Every lesson expanded you. From the Lord to you: If you are in a season of waiting, why not let yourself truly live while you wait? You cannot rush My timing, and no amount of anxiety will make the promise manifest any faster. No amount of holding your breath will bring the answer sooner, for the waiting is happening whether you are present for it or not. So, why not choose to be fully present for it? Why put your joy on hold until the thing you are praying for finally arrives? Why treat this season like it doesn't count just because it is not the one you asked for? This chapter is not less sacred just because it is not exactly what you planned, and this moment is not less meaningful because the breakthrough hasn't come yet. You are allowed to rest here, to laugh here, and to live fully here in My presence. I am moving in ways you cannot see, and when the appointed time comes, everything will align exactly as it should. But in the meantime, let yourself be here and enjoy what is present instead of only longing for what is not. The waiting does not have to be wasted, for it can be lived through the light of Jesus Christ. 143.

Dear Lord, You see the things that I am carrying quietly, the hopes I don't voice, the decisions I'm weighing, and the pressure I'm feeling to get it all right. There are days when I'm afraid of moving too quickly and days when I'm afraid I'm not moving at all. So instead of trying to figure out every answer on my own, I'm asking for Your guidance. Open the right doors for me at the right time. If a door isn't meant for me, don't let me force it. Close the paths that would drain me, distract me, or pull me out of alignment with what You have written for my life. And when those closed doors disappoint me, remind me that Your protection often looks like redirection. But when the door is from You, make it unmistakable, God. Let it come with peace that settles instead of confuses. Let it lead me towards purpose, towards clarity, and towards the version of myself You are shaping me into. I trust Your timing, Lord; I trust Your grace. And I trust that nothing meant for me will ever require me to abandon the person You are helping me become. In Jesus' name, Amen. 143.

I know you've had to endure more than you anticipated, and I know how badly this is hurting your heart. But even though you cannot see what I am doing right now, trust Me wholeheartedly. Do not lean on your own understanding of how this should unfold or when it should arrive. I am orchestrating something divine for you, something so beautifully and wonderfully crafted that it requires this exact timing, this exact preparation, and this exact season of refinement. All you need to do is rest in My unfailing love. I am always working on your behalf, even in the silence, even in the stillness, and even in the removing. And I would never withhold anything good from you. You are My beloved child, and your heart matters to Me. Hold on, I am working all things together for your good, and when it finally arrives, you will then realize why it had to happen exactly like this. Don't give up yet. 143.

Dear God, please continue to give me a teachable heart, one that is humble enough to receive correction, patient enough to wait on Your wisdom, and open enough to grow in ways I never expected. Help me to embrace the lessons in every season, even when they come through discomfort and trials, so that my heart may be soft, my spirit be willing, and my faith be unwavering as You shape me into who You've called me to be. Remind me that the most beautiful growth often happens in the soil of seasons I would have never chosen for myself, and teach me to listen for Your whisper over the noise of my own expectations while trusting that You see the full landscape of my life. I pray that You would strip away the armor of my current defensiveness and replace it with a peace that is found only in the full reliance of You, allowing me to walk forward with a mindful curiosity, eager to see how You will use my current situations to produce a harvest of righteousness for Your glory. Draw closer to the Lord ✝️

Stop trying to do it on your own. Stop distancing yourself from Him through sin. Walk the narrow path. The closer you get to the Lord, the stronger you will be. The closer you get to the Lord, the more guided you will be. When you feel “distant” from God, come closer to Him ~ in all areas. A relationship is two-sided. You must put in effort, too. 143.
