Enjoy four family-friendly days of fun at the 13th Children's Art + Literacy Festival in downtown Abilene at 17 venues presented by the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council. Celebrate the books of Matt Phelan (pronounced "FAIL-len"), the artist on exhibit this summer at the National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature. Thursday events are free. Friday and Saturday events require a pass for everyone 3 and older. Wear your CALF pass Sunday and enter the Abilene Zoo for free for additional festival programming and animal encounters!
