The 2025 Tyler Economic Development Council Annual Meeting will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the W. T. Brookshire Conference Center starting at 11:30 AM.


Sponsorship opportunities are available for the event:

Table Sponsor - $1,500:

• Corporate name will be displayed on the screen during the annual meeting.

• Corporate name listed in the program.

• One reserved table for 10 seats at the event. Register ten attendees for a full table. (NOTE: the name of your table will be based on the company name assigned to attendee #1. If you do not know the names of all who can attend, copy the information from attendee #1.)

* Only table sponsors will be guaranteed that their party will be seated together. All other tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Coach Cliff Ellis

For more than five decades, Cliff Ellis has cemented his place as one of the most respected and successful figures in college basketball history. A leader renowned for his ability to build and revitalize programs, his career is a testament to perseverance, strategic vision, and the power of teamwork. Cliff Ellis was the John Wooden and CBS National Coach of the Year in 1999, and his book Life’s a Dance was a best seller on Amazon. He is a Hall of Fame Coach in 4 different Halls of Fame.


Cliff Ellis was born in Marianna, Florida, and is a graduate of Florida State University. He has coached at the University of South Alabama, Clemson University, Auburn University, and Coastal Carolina University. When Ellis announced his retirement from coaching in December of 2023, he finished his illustrious career as the ninth all-time winningest coach in NCAA Division I history with 831wins. Ellis is the only coach in NCAA Division I history to win at least 170 games at four different institutions. He is one of only four coaches in NCAA Division I history to make multiple NCAA Tournament appearances with four separate schools.


Coach Ellis’s extraordinary career is a powerful symbol of his ability to inspire and lead diverse teams to success, regardless of the challenges. His wealth of experience in building winning cultures and fostering resilience will provide an invaluable perspective for our community and business leaders.
