    Founded in 1929, the South Texas Geological Society (STGS) proudly awards scholarships and grants to students pursuing a degree in geology or environmental sciences. The non-profit organization is dedicated to advancing the science of geology and promoting scientific research. All proceeds from our Annual Crawfish Boil go directly towards funding scholarships and the next generation of geoscientists.
