Description

Better bakers are made in the Central Market Cooking School! Campers will perfect their skills with tried and true techniques such as how to measure properly and learn the importance of following recipes to master the art and science of baking. After three days of camp, campers will be able to achieve tender, tasty pastry and desserts every time!

Kids. Ages 7 - 11.

Teens. Ages 12 – 17.

Classes are age appropriate: Younger campers will focus on basic techniques while older campers will practice more advanced skills.

Please escort your camper to the Cooking School for sign-in and drop-off for camp. Closed-toe shoes are required for all campers; no open-toe sandals are permitted. The temperature in our Cooking Schools can vary, so please dress your camper in layers, with long hair pulled back. Further information can be found on our FAQ page.

Day 1:

• Cheesy Sausage & Ricotta Calzones
• Zeppole (Italian Doughnuts)

Day 2:

• Salted Chocolate Chunk Shortbread Cookies
• Chocolate-Dipped Macaroons
• Rocky Road Bars

Day 3:

• Almond-Apricot Granola Bars
• Fruit-Filled Hand Pies

Safety & Precautions

• At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.

• For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed start time of the class.
