This class is entirely free to attend, but if you're able, please consider purchasing a donation-based ticket. All proceeds will benefit Safe in Austin Rescue Ranch, supporting local families and animals affected by the recent devastating floods just down 1431, near our new Cedar Park location.

If you are not familiar with Safe in Austin, this is their mission:

Safe in Austin is a nonprofit sanctuary for children and animals who come from abuse or have extra needs. We offer healing and hope to anyone who needs it in the form of unconditional love and kindness by way of rescued animals who understand. Safe in Austin is a home for more than 200 rescued animals, 17 different species. For most of our animals, Safe in Austin was their last resort. We have animals and invite children who have survived extreme abuse, horrific trauma, devastating neglect, or animals and children with special needs like being blind, deaf, having cerebral palsy, neurological disorders, missing limbs, use wheelchairs, prosthetics, have mega esophagus, hydrocephalous, cerebellar hypoplasia, diabetes…. and more.

Our mission is focused on rescuing these animals, making them a loved and important part of our sanctuary family, and then introducing them to children who have similar stories. There is a real, raw, and magical circle of healing that happens when you introduce a child to an animal that understands them. Animals offer the gift of unconditional love and acceptance. Rescued animals that understand what you have survived or live with daily offer, in its purest form, the thing that survivors need more than anything… hope.
