MASTERING THE BASICS

Are your Spanish-speaking students mastering the foundations of spelling: diphthongs, hiatus, syllables, and written accents?

Unfortunately, traditional explanations, infographics, and practice leave the vast majority of monolingual and bilingual Spanish-speakers confused, and even worse, feeling like failures.

But don't despair: turn confusion into clarity!

With some novel approaches in your bag of tricks, you´'ll reach more students with less effort in less time.

BRING A LAPTOP OR TABLET

The activities we have planned for you are not conducive to the small screen of a phone, so please bring a laptop or tablet. Throughout the event, you'll be sharing a screen with a partner.

PHONE USE

This will be an engaging workshop, and we literally won't have a minute to spare. Please come ready to participate with your undivided attention.

You'll have several opportunities to check your devices, and certainly feel free to step into the hall to respond to an important notification.

CASUAL ATTIRE

Let's keep it comfortable: please come in shorts and flip-flops if you like.
