Richard Rohr’s Falling Upward reminds us that the journey of life has two movements: in the first half, we build identity and structure; in the second half, we are invited to let go, deepen, and live more freely from our truest self.
The Enneagram offers a powerful lens to see how our personality both supports and resists this transformation. In this interactive workshop, you will:
- Explore how each Enneagram type approaches the tasks of the “first half” of life.
- Reflect on the unique challenges and invitations that open in the “second half.”
- Consider how “falling” moments can become gateways to deeper spiritual wisdom.
- Engage in guided reflection and conversation with others on the journey.
Whether you are familiar with the Enneagram or just beginning, this morning retreat will offer insight, encouragement, and practical tools for embracing your unfolding spiritual path.
In our time together we will listen, learn, discuss and do some inquiry practice together - to allow us all to go deeper. Coffee and refreshments will be available and come make use of the labyrinth at Retreat House as well.
Facilitated by Aaron Manes, spiritual director and Enneagram teacher (learn more)
