What Is Emotional DNA?

Have you ever caught yourself repeating the same behaviors over and over—even ones you promised you’d never do, like your mom or dad used to? These repeating patterns often signal what's no longer working for you, and they can reveal where real change is possible.

We all know we inherit physical DNA, but few people realize we also inherit emotional DNA—the patterns of thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and beliefs passed down through our families. These patterns influence how we relate to others, how we lead, how we handle money, and how we show up in the world.

In systemic work, we explore these inherited dynamics. By identifying the emotional patterns that span generations, we gain the opportunity to resolve what’s been stuck, evolve past inherited limitations, and transform how we live and relate.

What Is a Constellation?

A constellation is a three-dimensional process used to explore the deeper dynamics in a personal, family, or organizational system. Using people or objects to represent key elements of your system—such as family members, emotions, or roles—constellations help bring hidden patterns and unconscious loyalties to light.

This approach makes the invisible visible. It highlights where tension, imbalance, or disconnection exists—and often reveals surprising insights that lead to healing and clarity.
