For over 7 years, Central Texas-based musician Gus Clark has been fronting his own band, “The Least Of His Problems”, as an accomplished vocalist, songwriter, band leader, and multi-instrumentalist. After spending his youth riding freight trains and hitch-hiking across the country and back, making his living busking on the street, Gus returned to his family trade of woodworking, making custom solid-wood furniture with his father. Gus pays beautiful homage to a deep well of golden-era American music traditions. In a voice that combines unique sincerity with pitch-perfect emotive richness, Clark delivers classic barn-burners, good-time dance tunes, bittersweet heartbreak ballads, and more, taking listeners on a journey through American music, baring his soul, distinct personality, and inimitable presence.
