In this four week class students will learn the process of using slabs to make a 10-14 inch decorative serving platter. Special instructor Jan Lentz will demonstrate how to add a foot to the bottom of your platter and how to add decorative handles. She will also demonstrate surface deoration techniques that will take your pieces to the next level! These techniques include slip trailing with underglaze, freehand design with underglaze, stencil with underglaze, underglaze transfer with added underglaze, texture design or glaze.
