CLOVER AWARD SUBMISSION: deadline August 15, 2025 - Nominate a peer for the Clover Award- This award honors 9-month old Clover Annabel Harrold, who lost her life too early to sepsis. The Harrolds aim with the award is to honor healthcare workers who have taken life-saving actions to identify and treat sepsis early. Nominate someone here :https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CYC7BL9


Learning objectives for the sepsis conference:

1. Identify the signs of Sepsis in a patient presenting to the hospital emergency department

2. Interpret the importance of the SEP-1 Bundle

3. Use BLASTERS as a tool to treat patients

4. Develop strategies to protect your nursing license


The conference has been approved for 6.25 contact hours of nursing credit.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth and DFW Hospital Council Foundation. The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
