The Catholic Ecology Center sits on nearly 60 acres, part of a 225-acre preserve complex, of diverse habitats including prairies, forests, the Rubicon River, Otter Creek, a pond, and organic gardening areas.

Thursday, June 26th: Wild and Wacky Weather

Immerse yourself in the strength and power of the weather! Dive deep into discovery of the different cloud types, learn about the extreme weather of tornadoes and thunderstorms, and give your own weather report after learning how to interpret weather symbols on a map!

Hear about the life of Catholic priest, Fr. José María Algué, and his extensive work in meteorology. Enter into the story of Jesus calming the storm and recognize that no storm is too great for our God to handle!
