Hacker Summer Camp kicks off right here in Brooklyn with Summercon 2025—a single-track, deeply technical, and extremely social hacker conference that’s been running since 1987.

What makes it special?

• Top-tier security talks in a cozy, curated venue.
• Legendary afterparties and in-person socializing.
• A crowd that includes hackers, researchers, and decision-makers.

🗣 Programming Highlights

• All speaker presentations take place at Littlefield.
• Extra space to spread out: simulcast viewing and a lockpicking village at Lucky 13 Saloon (644 Sackett Street); simulcast and the vendor village at Wild East Brewing (632 Sackett Street).
• From 10AM to 5PM on both days, Lucky 13 and Wild East Brewing will serve as our overflow venue and social hub. After 5PM, they reopen to the public.
• Select talks will also be streamed online. If you’re joining us remotely, note that not all content may be broadcast due to speaker preferences—and you’ll definitely miss out on the in-person energy.
• After-parties for all: at the conclusion of Day 1 presentations, stick around for Lucidity: Tame Impala Experience for a musical journey through pulsating rhythms, dreamy melodies, and kaleidoscopic sonic textures. Day 2 concludes with Summercon Movie Night, brought to you by Bishop Fox -- you won't want to miss it!

🧼 A Word About COVID (and Being Decent Humans)

We are going to have PTSD about COVID for a long time. As a result, some of our community still take precautions seriously—and we respect that.

So, while NYC does not require masks or proof of vaccination, we encourage the following:

• Stay up to date on your COVID-19 and flu vaccines.
• Feel free to wear a high-quality mask (KN95, KF94, etc.).
• Stay home if you’re sick—our refund policy’s got your back.
• Wash your hands. Seriously.
• Be kind, be cool, and respect each other’s boundaries.
