About the class
Join us for a peaceful Sunday Morning Meditation at Balanced Being. This free 12-class series is ideal for those who have never meditated before or those looking to develop a more consistent and powerful practice. Each class begins and ends with meditation. The discussions will cover 12 different topics including meditation, mindfulness, detachment and more. We will also be covering some new topics requested by existing students. Our shared intention will be to develop a strong meditation practice and cultivate greater peace and self awareness.


About the teacher
Ananda is a Buddhist initiate and meditation teacher. He has been engaged in a disciplined meditation practice for over 6 years . He enjoys making meditation accessible to people of different cultural and religious backgrounds. His particular focus is helping students integrate meditation and mindfulness into their daily lives.


Practical details
The class will begin at 9:00AM and last 1 hour. Please arrive 5 minute early. The meditation studio is upstairs at Balanced Being Yoga and Wellness in Lower Greenville. The studio entrance is next to Abby's Bagels. We will provide mats and pillows (zafus), so nothing for you to bring. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes.
