Join Way Out Wild for a women’s-only camping trip to one of the most stunning hidden gems in the Eastern Sierra Nevada—Big Pine Lakes. This trip will take you through jaw-dropping mountain scenery, glacier-fed lakes, and rugged wilderness that feels like something straight out of a dream.

Who Is This Trip For?

This experience is not beginner-friendly. Participants should be comfortable with hiking moderate to challenging trails up to 12 miles and at high elevation of around 10,000ft. No prior backpacking or camping experience required—just a sense of adventure!

Gear & Packing Info

• You’ll need to bring your own camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad).
• A packing list will be provided after registration.
• Don’t have gear? We can help connect you with affordable rental options.

Getting There

Carpool and caravan options will be available, and details will be shared as we get closer to the event date.

Safety Information

Our guides have the following certifications:

• Wilderness Medecine
• CPA/AED
• Food Handlers Safety
• Campfire Safety

Safety is always our top priority. A signed liability waiver is required to attend this trip.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Full refunds available up to two weeks before the trip. After that, no refunds will be issued. If you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, reach out and we will try to accommodate ticket transfers.
• If the organizer cancels, you will receive a full refund.
• Weather does not automatically result in trip cancellation. Participants will be notified of any changes.

COVID-19 Policy

We highly recommend staying up to date on vaccinations. Per CDC guidelines, masks are not required outdoors. If you feel unwell or have been exposed to COVID-19 within 14 days of the trip, please do not attend.

Why Only $200?

Because Way Out Wild believes in making outdoor adventures affordable and accessible. Most outfitters charge way more, but we’re doing this to pay our incredible guides, cover logistics, provide meals, handle camping fees, and fund our journey to becoming a nonprofit.
