Pay Range: $31.47 - $52.87 per hour

Summary

Join a mission-driven team at Rush as an Information Systems Associate Project Manager, where you’ll contribute to high-impact clinical integration and IT initiatives that directly support patient care. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including physicians and key stakeholders—to define project scope, track progress, manage risks, and deliver results that align with organizational goals. Prior experience managing projects in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred, as this role requires navigating clinical workflows and understanding the unique needs of a healthcare environment. Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Team in establishing ground rules and charter.
  • Ensures project scope is clearly defined; develop and manage project plan to meet deliverables.
  • Participate in completion of project documentation and recommend readiness management review.
  • Participates with execution of scope change management and project close-out processes.
  • Tracks overall project budget and metrics.
  • Participates with project team members through the project management process; ensure team is working within project scope and addressing questions for next project review.
  • Documents project plan in Project Management (PM) software and maintain project documentation.
  • Manages cross-functional project timeline and follow-up with project team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Proactively identify and manage project opportunities/ issues/ risks.
  • Collaborates with representatives from appropriate functional areas to meet project objectives.
  • Drives for results and timely decision-making and resolves project team conflicts Accountability / Scope/Budget.
  • Manages projects with representation from all key functional areas.
  • Responsible for identifying critical project issues and risks, and timely communication to leadership.
  • Provides cross-functional forecasting, tracking, reporting and oversight on project budget and expenditures as required.
  • Data profiling clinical data as required.
  • Work primarily on clinical integration projects but will assist in additional projects as needed.
  • Work directly with physicians and stakeholders as necessary to deliver the best outcomes for Rush Health.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 0-2 years of project support experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint & Project).
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • PMP certification
  • 2+ Years in a healthcare related field
  • Experience in Data / Business Analyst role
