About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced CLM Data Migration Subject Matter Expert to lead and guide complex contract data migrations within CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) platforms. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise migrating data between platforms such as Sirion, Ariba, and other leading CLM systems. This role requires both strategic and executional capabilities: you will serve as the key advisor to clients and internal teams, driving migration best practices, ensuring data integrity, and documenting critical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support data migration efforts across CLM systems, with a strong preference for experience with Sirion and Ariba.
- Develop migration strategies and plans aligned with client needs and system requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on data mapping, field normalization, parent-child structures, and metadata standards.
- Work closely with clients, vendors, and technical teams to define migration scope, assess risks, and validate data accuracy.
- Review existing contract repositories, identify gaps or risks, and recommend mitigation actions.
- Challenge assumptions and ensure that decisions are made in the best long-term interest of data quality and usability.
- Document all decisions, risks, assumptions, and key outcomes in a structured and auditable manner.
- Support test planning, including completeness, accuracy, and usability validation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data migration projects, including at least 2 years specifically within CLM systems.
- Hands-on experience with Sirion and/or Ariba data structures strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of CLM metadata, repository design, and data governance principles.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience documenting migration plans, mapping logic, decision logs, and test results.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to guide clients toward scalable, maintainable solutions
