About the Role:

We’re looking for an awesome person to become the heartbeat of our community. You’ll be running our Discord, creating a welcoming, buzzing space where people connect, share, and stay excited about what we’re building. Think of yourself as part party host, part guide, part cheerleader — all rolled into one.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Community Engagement & Moderation:

• Manage and grow our Discord server — organize channels, manage roles, and maintain a positive atmosphere
• Engage with users daily: answer questions, initiate conversations, share updates, and keep the space lively and supportive
• Moderate discussions with a balanced approach, ensuring a friendly and safe environment

Community Events & Activations:

• Plan and execute community events such as AMAs, contests, launch celebrations, and casual hangouts
• Collaborate with internal teams to align events with product launches and updates
• Foster grassroots initiatives and community-led campaigns to increase engagement

Ecosystem Building & Partnerships:

• Develop and manage ambassador programs to empower community leaders and advocates
• Build strategic relationships with developers, creators, and thought leaders in relevant industries
• Champion the open-source spirit and encourage contributions to our platform and documentation

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal teams to share updates, gather feedback, and integrate community insights into product development
• Coordinate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure community needs are addressed

Community Growth & Retention:

• Define key goals and KPIs for community health, engagement, and growth
• Analyze community metrics to assess the effectiveness of engagement strategies and make data-driven improvements

What You Bring:

• A passion for people and building inclusive communities
• Experience in organizing and executing online and offline community events
• Strong understanding of community dynamics and the ability to foster engagement
• Proficiency in managing community platforms, particularly Discord
• Excellent communication skills and a sense of humor
• Proactive, creative, and open to trying new approaches
• Ability to listen to community feedback and act on it
• Experience with Discord

Bonus Points If:

• You have experience managing ambassador programs
• You've worked in tech, startups, or industries where community engagement is key
• You have basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva)
• You're familiar with tools like X, Reddit, and LinkedIn

Work Hours & Compensation:

• Full Time, Monday-Friday
• 60,000-80,000/yr, depending on experience
