About The Role We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Real Estate Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management of our property portfolio, ensuring efficient operations, financial stability, and tenant satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include negotiating rental agreements, purchasing supplies, supervising staff members such as groundskeepers and maintenance personnel, and managing vendor contracts. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in real estate management, strong negotiation skills, and a sound understanding of financial principles related to property management. You will serve as a key liaison between property owners, tenants, and service providers, ensuring all aspects of property operations align with company standards and legal requirements. Your leadership will contribute to maximizing property value, optimizing income, and maintaining high levels of tenant and owner satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administration, or project management
  • Minimum of two years' experience in real estate management, project management, or a related role
  • Proficiency in real estate management software such as Buildium and AppFolio
  • Experience in managing property purchases, sales, rentals, and development projects
  • Strong negotiation skills for contracts, lease agreements, and vendor relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of property law, taxes, and financial statements
  • Ability to manage payments, oversee maintenance, and procure vendors and suppliers
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to resolve tenant and resident complaints effectively
  • Financial acumen with the ability to prepare and interpret financial reports

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the purchase, sale, rental, and development of properties to meet strategic objectives
  • Monitor and manage real estate income and expenditures, including collection of payments
  • Determine appropriate rental income and negotiate lease agreements with tenants
  • Authorize expenditures related to maintenance, repairs, equipment, and supplies
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure quality and cost-efficiency
  • Supervise maintenance workers, cleaning crews, contractors, and groundskeepers to maintain property standards
  • Keep property owners informed on key metrics such as taxes, occupancy rates, and lease expiration dates
  • Address and resolve complaints from residents and tenants promptly and professionally
  • Prepare detailed financial statements, reports, and records for management review
  • Report regularly to property owners and investors on property performance and financial health
