        We are seeking a strategic Director of Brand & B2B Marketing with experience leading the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across retail, convenience store (c-store), and/or B2B channels.


        Should have strong experience in brand positioning, digital content strategy, and B2B lead generation, while also shaping customer experience across web platforms and in-store touchpoints. The ideal candidate brings a track record of building strong brands, launching high-impact campaigns, and managing websites and content that drive measurable engagement and revenue growth.


        Qualifications:

        10+ years of marketing experience with increasing responsibility, ideally in retail, fuel, or franchise environments.
      • Demonstrated success in managing brand campaigns, sponsorships, and content strategies.
      • Proven leadership of a multi-functional marketing team and oversight of large campaign budgets.
      • Strong understanding of B2B sales support, marketing, content development, and lead generation tactics.
      • Experience with national media planning and buying across digital and broadcast channels.

      Preferred Skills and Attributes:

      Experience in marketing in convenience stores, QSRs, or energy/fuel industries.
    • Comfortable/Experienced managing high-profile brand partnerships and national sponsorships. Preferably with exposure to Motorsports, MLB, MLS, or other similar partners.
    • Skilled in building team processes, marketing calendars, and creative workflows.
    • Ability to think both creatively and analytically—balancing brand voice with business KPIs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the creation and implementation of annual brand marketing plans across large nationally recognized retail brand.
  • Lead and direct marketing in support of 94 Octane rollout across key geographies leveraging Market Mix Modeling to deliver positive ROI.
  • Manage a 5-person team responsible for campaign execution, promotional launches, content development, and consumer research.
  • Provide strategic oversight and manage process to integrate and streamline key marketing processes related to M&A activities, including websites, point of purchase materials, agencies, trademarks, and brand standards with focus on exceeding synergy targets.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to support franchise and dealer sales opportunities through marketing efforts.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage national and regional sponsorship strategies, including relationships with motorsports (NASCAR, F1, NHRA), and other brand partners.
  • Develop and manage an influencer strategy program that enhances Sunoco’s position in performance fuels.
  • Oversee all national and regional media planning and media buying, including traditional and digital platforms.
  • Design promotions and branding efforts that drive store-level traffic and increase franchisee performance.
  • Conduct market research, including segmentation studies, to inform and evolve consumer marketing strategy.
