Moms for Liberty is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and creative Director of Marketing and Communications to lead and elevate our brand, drive community engagement, and amplify our mission across all platforms. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping the voice, visibility, and growth of our organization through comprehensive marketing and communications strategies.

About the Role

The Director of Marketing and Communications will oversee the development, execution, and integration of a broad spectrum of marketing and communications strategies—including branding, digital marketing, public relations, advertising, direct marketing, merchandising, and executive communications.

You will be responsible for our brand identity and messaging, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications. This role requires a blend of high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll lead a passionate team while collaborating cross-functionally to create powerful, integrated campaigns that connect with our audience and inspire action.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead Strategy: Develop and implement cohesive marketing and communication strategies that build our brand, drive engagement, increase visibility, and support revenue growth.

·        Brand Stewardship: Manage and evolve the Moms for Liberty brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all touchpoints.

·        Content Oversight: Ensure all content (written, visual, digital) aligns with brand standards, tone, and messaging guidelines.

·        Campaign Development: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with strategic priorities.

·        Digital and Social Media: Oversee digital marketing initiatives including social media, website content, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.

·        Media Relations: Manage media relations, respond to press inquiries, and increase public awareness through earned media strategies.

·        Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage market research, consumer insights, and performance analytics to inform strategies and optimize results.

·        Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development, programs, chapters, and executive leadership to support integrated efforts and shared goals.

·        Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead marketing, communications, and content team.

·        Event Support: Lead communications and press efforts at events including Town Halls and national summit.

·        Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget for maximum ROI.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

·        10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

·        Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams

·        Demonstrated expertise across all areas of marketing including branding, content, digital, email, social, SEO, PR, and analytics

·        Experience with CRM systems, e-commerce platforms, and digital engagement tools

·        Strong project management and strategic planning capabilities

·        Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills

·        Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, mission-driven environment

·        Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

·        Ability to manage ambiguity, make sound decisions quickly, and juggle multiple priorities
