We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Event Coordinator to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events ranging from open houses to investor meetings and promotional gatherings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating memorable and seamless event experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate events from start to finish, including logistics, vendor coordination, and onsite support
- Work with internal teams to ensure event goals align with company objectives
- Secure venues, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets
- Create event timelines and checklists to ensure smooth execution
- Supervise event set-up and breakdown
- Troubleshoot issues that arise before and during events
- Maintain records of event details, including guest lists, budgets, and post-event feedback
- Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements for future events
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event management software is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when events require
