Summer 2026 HR Intern – North America
Location: USA (remote) Department: Human Resources – North America Duration: Summer Internship
About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Intern. This role will work cross-functionally with HR, Talent, Benefits, IT, Payroll, and business segments to analyze current onboarding processes, identify gaps, and build a more consistent, engaging, and scalable onboarding framework for new hires across North America.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to employee experience design, HR operations, change management, and cross-functional collaboration—ideal for a student passionate about people, process improvement, and organizational culture.
Responsibilities
- Primary Project: North America Onboarding - Recommend process improvements and support implementation steps throughout the summer.
- Support candidate pipeline activities such as scheduling, screening, or coordination (as needed).
- Assist with new hire orientation preparation and updates.
- Participate in HR team meetings, learning sessions, and cross-functional discussions.
- Contribute to other HR projects related to culture, engagement, or early-talent development.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with employees at all levels.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple components of a project.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, or process mapping tools.
- Prior experience or coursework in HR, onboarding, or process improvement.
- Ability to synthesize information into clear recommendations.
