Job Summary
As a learning and development professional applying for this position, you will work within a team of other instructional designers and learning specialists to support the creation and enhancement of engaging learning experiences across technical and non-technical teams, primarily within a customer support or contact center environment supporting multiple sites in different regions.
The ideal candidate will have between 3+ years of experience in instructional design and eLearning development, with a focus on analyzing learner needs, designing and developing fully virtual eLearning and curricula, as well as methods for evaluating training effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will also work with subject matter experts (SMEs), cross-functional teams, and leadership to ensure learning solutions align with business goals. Project management skills are essential to this role, along with the ability to work independently or in teams. Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, and AI-enhanced tools like Storyline, Vyond, or Copilot is a plus.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Ability to apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories, such as ADDIE, SAM, BLOOMS, and others, to produce interactive, innovative, and accessible learning experiences.
Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.
A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, e-Learning, or a related field, such as Education, is preferred, or a specified equivalent number of years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles, including the ADDIE model, the SAM model, and Bloom’s Taxonomy, applicable to both eLearning content and instructor-led learning programs.
Certifications in Training, Curriculum Developer, or Instructional Design are a plus, but not required.
Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.
