Insurance Customer Service Agent

Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, detail-oriented Insurance Customer Service Agent. We are looking for you to communicate well, solve problems efficiently, and reliably protect our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize client issues with a sense of urgency 
  • Create meaningful relationships with clients and team members 
  • Correspond with clients and carriers to give quotes, change policies, answer questions, make payments, write claims, and renew policies 
  • Manage multiple client deadlines with militant attention to detail 
  • Analyze potential and current client insurance needs 
  • Become a product expert on various carriers and plans to better serve your client base 
Qualifications

Required  

  • 2 years minimum experience in a customer facing role 
  • Recommendations from previous employers 
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator 
  • Personable, friendly, and cheerful 
  • Thinks like an owner 
  • High School Graduate 

 

Preferred  

  • Licensed in the state of Idaho 
  • College Graduate 
  • Financial industry experience, especially in a customer-facing role
