Description
We're looking for someone with 5-8 years of experience as an IT Support Tech to join our team. You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, networking, and help desk support, with a strong foundation in Linux, Windows, and Mac OS. Excellent problem-solving skills and clear communication are a must. This role is all about keeping our systems running smoothly and ensuring our users are well-supported.
- Provide technical support to end-users via help desk, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Provide technical support to clients, both remotely and on-site, diagnosing and promptly resolving IT issues.
- Maintain and support client systems and network infrastructure.
- Document and track service requests to ensure timely resolution and follow-up.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and manage clients' IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement customized IT solutions.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
- Assist clients with technology-related inquiries and offer training as required.
- Document all service activities, issues, and resolutions in a detailed and organized manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed to support a 24/7 operation.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, preferably in an MSP environment.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Certifications in relevant areas such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or ITIL.
- Proficiency in key IT skills including system administration, network security, database management, virtualization, scripting, and firewall configuration.
