Overview
We are seeking a
detail-oriented, curious, and motivated Junior Data Analyst to support
analytical projects, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. This role is
ideal for someone early in their analytics career who enjoys transforming raw
information into insights that guide operations, strategy, and customer
outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Preparation
- Gather, clean, and
organize structured and unstructured datasets from multiple internal and
external sources
- Perform data validation to
ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability
- Maintain data documentation,
data dictionaries, and quality-control processes
Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct exploratory data
analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Build dashboards,
weekly/monthly reports, and performance summaries for internal teams
- Assist senior analysts
with deeper statistical analysis and forecasting projects
Business Insights & Support
- Translate analytical
findings into clear insights to support decision-making
- Monitor KPIs and
operational metrics; flag variances and trends
- Support different
departments (operations, marketing, product, finance, etc.) with data
queries
Tools & Technologies
Experience with or willingness
to learn:
- Excel / Google Sheets
(advanced functions, pivot tables)
- SQL for querying databases
- BI tools (Power BI,
Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Python or R (optional but
an asset)
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Diploma or bachelor’s
degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business,
Economics, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in
data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence (internships count)
Skills
- Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage large
datasets with attention to accuracy
- Clear communication
skills—able to explain data in simple language
- Curiosity, willingness to
learn, and comfort with fast-paced environments
Preferred Assets
(Not mandatory but beneficial)
- Experience with automation
tools or CRM systems
- Familiarity with APIs,
cloud data platforms, or ETL concepts
- Interest in predictive
modeling or machine learning fundamentals

Desired
Skills and Experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science,
Economics, or a related field. Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages
such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R. Experience with data visualization tools like
Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Strong understanding of statistical methods and
data modelling techniques. Ability to work with large datasets and manage
multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills with the ability to
present complex information clearly.
