Description
The Jr. Graphic/Production Artist will work within Integrated Marketing Communications and specifically the Creative Services team to prepare final files for print and digital mediums. The position will work closely with the Creative Services manager and other designers to ensure that designs meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and deadlines. Candidate must be proficient in the Mac environment and familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Microsoft Office. Canva and other tools are a bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Formatting: Resizing, cropping, and applying color corrections to images and graphics
- Layout: Creating and editing layouts, templates, and mockups
- Error checking: Checking for typos, inconsistencies, and other errors
- File optimization: Optimizing and exporting files for different platforms and devices
- Brand adherence: Following brand guidelines and style guides
- Collaboration: Working with clients, art directors, and designers to provide feedback, make recommendations, and build supportive teams
- Project management: Managing the timely delivery of final design materials, including implementing file management systems
- Time management: Using time management skills to manage multiple projects and deliver materials on time
- The designer may also create and refine visual content, such as logos, brand packaging, posters, PowerPoints, digital and print advertisements and marketing materials. They may use design software to combine images, illustrations, and text.
Qualifications:
- Production graphic designers often work in marketing agencies, businesses, film studios, and gaming companies; these industries would be ideal.
- Ability to support part time hours (4 hours per day, 5 days a week Mon-Fri)
- Pay Rate: $38-$45/hour
