The Live-In Child Care Provider serves as a House Guardian for our residential campus for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation, for ages 11-17. The House Guardian is assigned to a specific house on the campus that houses residents who are working through a program designed to help them to become fully functional adults. This house has the capacity to care for up to five (5) minor girls. The House Guardian lives and works within a dynamic team of other House Guardians, Educators, and the Executive Team.

Some of the Essential Duties

• Provide transportation for residents during weekly programming
• Keep program house clean and organized
• Maintain a safe, consistent, and caring environment that empowers residents in their healing and growth
• Enforce discipline and self-control among the residents
• Create a positive culture within the house of peace, truth, trust, and unity
• Enforce rules and administer logical consequences

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with children is preferred - especially children who have experienced significant trauma and / or children with behavioral concerns
• Willingness to learn and desire to work in a team environment

• We take safety and security very seriously to protect the residents and the staff. The campus is near Siloam Springs, OK, and Tahlequah, OK, but we do not give out exact location until after the successful interview.
