Summary: The Manager, Operations Partnerships (Business Development) plays a critical role in executing and managing LLS’s revenue-generating partnerships by serving as the central point of coordination between internal teams and partners. This role ensures partnership deliverables are fulfilled on time and within scope, oversees campaign workflows, manages fundraising platforms, and supports revenue processing across channels. The Manager, Operations Partnerships maintains tracking systems, drives process improvements, ensures compliance with organizational standards, and supports high-quality partner engagement. Through cross-functional collaboration, operational oversight, and a focus on efficiency, this role helps maximize the value of partnerships and contributes directly to LLS’s mission to cure cancer and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

Duties And Responsibilities
Team Management
- Monitor departmental goals and timeline ensuring that all meetings, training and conferences adhere to the established timeline.
- Plan staffing assignments accordingly for workload management.
- Supervise, mentor and train current and new staff
- Manage team escalations and requests for support quickly and effectively
- Serve as the operational manager for executing partnership agreements, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and partners to coordinate campaign workflows, integrate processes, and support cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage and maintain operational workflows related to revenue partnerships across departments; implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project timelines, identify risks or delays, and proactively propose solutions to keep initiatives on track.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for internal questions regarding partnership operations, deadlines, and fulfillment.
- Maintain detailed tracking systems for partnership metrics and oversee management of fundraising platforms (e.g., C360, Double the Donation, Matching Gift portals).
- Oversee customer service related to workplace giving, ensuring timely and accurate responses through internal ticketing software.
- Oversee revenue processing, including checks, wires, stock donations, and related revenue corrections.
- Regularly evaluate processes for efficiency and recommend improvements.
- Stay informed of process updates, system changes, and quality standards to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Stay informed and maintain a strong understanding of Business Operations processes and quality standards.
- Move across functions to support the needs of the greater team through guided education and training.
- Protect the organization’s integrity by handling sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a directly related role, preferably within a nonprofit, fundraising, or mission-driven organization.
- Prior experience at LLS or strong familiarity with the organization’s mission, products, and services is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience managing direct reports or leading cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy, clarity, accountability, and collaboration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to high-quality work.
- Capable of navigating and leading change within a matrixed organizational structure.
- Weekend & evening work may be required at times

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $64,000 to $93,000. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
