Job Summary

We're looking for a marketing communications manager with 1-4 years of experience to join our team with the Children's Entrepreneur Market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, content strategy, and social media management. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing communications strategies that align with our business objectives. This role requires excellent communication skills and project management abilities to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.


Responsibilities
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and publish engaging daily content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.), using AI tools to assist with content ideation, editing, and scheduling.
  • Strategize and launch social media campaigns to grow our audience, increase engagement, and drive booth registrations.
  • Plan, manage, and optimize Facebook ads for 500+ market events annually, using AI insights to monitor performance and stay within budget (e.g., $150/event)
  • Regularly analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as follower growth, engagement, and conversions, utilizing AI dashboards or analytics platforms to inform your strategy.
  • Write and distribute weekly press releases for upcoming markets, with AI-supported editing and outreach tracking.
  • Represent CEM in media interviews when the Director is unavailable, delivering polished, brand-aligned messaging.
  • Partner with the Program Manager and Graphic Designer on national media campaigns, incorporating AI-generated creative assets as needed.
  • Keep all communications workflows organized in Notion, identifying ways to improve efficiency through AI or automation tools.
  • Create and distribute a monthly email newsletter using templates and analytics-driven recommendations. 

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

● 3+ years in social media management, digital advertising, or media/public relations.

● Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Canva Magic Write) to enhance content creation and efficiency.

● Strong writing and editing skills, especially for media and press materials.

● Experience with Facebook Ads Manager and basic understanding of paid campaign performance metrics.

● Confident in public speaking and conducting interviews.

● Highly organized, with experience using platforms like Notion, Asana, or Trello.

● A creative, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.

● Passion for entrepreneurship, education, and empowering youth.
