Description
About Us
We’re a fast-growing gummy manufacturing facility producing high-quality products for multiple brands nationwide. With 13 production lines, 240 team members, and operations running 24/5, our mission is simple: to be best-in-class in quality and operations for our customers.
Our foundation is built on SQQ: Safety, Quality, Quantity - in that order, every time. We believe that when people feel valued, safe, and inspired, excellence follows naturally.
We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Operations Manager to help us build the culture, systems, and team that will propel our next phase of growth. This is an opportunity to be a key leader shaping a thriving business; one that customers love working with and employees love working for.
The Role
We’re not looking for a manager. We’re looking for a builder.
Someone who thrives on creating structure, developing people, and driving excellence. You’ll work closely with the COO to lead a team of four supervisors and over 200 production staff across multiple shifts, overseeing all aspects of manufacturing and packaging.
This is a hands-on role where leadership, initiative, and integrity set the tone. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping both the day-to-day operations and the long-term trajectory of a growing company poised for significant expansion over the coming years.
What You’ll Do
· Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline teams to achieve production goals aligned with SQQ standards.
· Drive performance and accountability across all departments ensuring world-class safety, quality, and efficiency.
· Build and nurture a culture grounded in teamwork, ownership, and communication.
· Partner with leadership to design and execute business and operational strategies for short- and long-term growth.
· Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet customer demand on time and in full.
· Collaborate with Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth production flow and successful product launches.
· Utilize ERP (NetSuite) and soon-to-be-implemented Redzone platform to analyze data and drive improvement.
· Manage departmental budgets, productivity metrics, and labor efficiency.
· Champion continuous improvement initiatives and foster employee engagement at every level.
What You Bring
· 5+ years of manager-level experience in food, beverage, nutraceutical, or related high-output manufacturing environments.
· Proven ability to lead large teams and multiple shifts with clarity, integrity, and accountability.
· Deep understanding of production planning, Lean/CI principles, and performance management.
· Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). Familiarity with Redzone or similar performance management tools is a plus.
· Strong communication and coaching skills - you know how to bring out the best in people.
· Entrepreneurial mindset - ownership, initiative, and a bias toward action.
Why Join Us
This isn’t just another operations role; it’s a chance to build something lasting.
You’ll help shape a culture of excellence, develop future leaders, and directly influence the success of a company redefining what “best-in-class” looks like in manufacturing.
- If you’re passionate about leadership, growth, and making an impact, both in business and in people’s lives, we want to talk to you.
