Position: First (1st) Shift Packaging Operator I (Line Lead)

Shift: 6:00am –; 2:30pm, Monday-Friday (Hours will vary during peak)

Pay: $18.55 per hour.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Supply Chain, Auditing, Product Compliance, Shipping, Logistics, Lead.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:


  • Coordinating tasks within a production line, including item organization, product production, product replenishment, and quality.
  • Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
  • Technical Computer Skills
  • This is a hands-on role that is spent most of shift out on the warehouse floor and moving to and from multiple areas of the building to include extended period of standing and walking.
  • Lifting to 40lbs

Role Purpose:

Efficiently operates packaging lines according to established procedures and customer specifications, while meeting all quality standards.

Oversees the activities of associates assigned to specific packing area/product.

Key Accountabilities:


  • Package product into bags, boxes, or totes per customer specifications.
  • Document quality checks and enter into the system.
  • Read and disseminate information on the product specifications and packaging requirements.
  • Assist in training new associates and cross-training backup associates.
  • Pull product samples and test product mix, labeling and or weight against specs.
  • Follow all safety, environmental and quality guidelines.
  • Must be able to perform all duties of packaging operator II.
  • Maintain housekeeping duties around packaging equipment and in warehouse.
  • Responsible for lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
  • Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain finished product conformity to specs.


Required Education and Experience:


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
