Description

      • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps)

        Engineer and Designer with a primary focus on the Vulnerability Response (VR) module. This

        role will lead the technical design, implementation, and enhancement of the ServiceNow VR

        solution to support organizational vulnerability management, risk reduction, and compliance

        efforts.


        Key Responsibilities

        Design and implement scalable ServiceNow Vulnerability Response solutions aligned with
      cybersecurity goals.

      Configure, customize, and enhance VR workflows, playbooks, and data models.
    • Integrate ServiceNow VR with external vulnerability scanners such as Tenable, Qualys, or
    Rapid7 using APIs and MID Servers.

    Map vulnerabilities to CI data using the CMDB for effective correlation and prioritization.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and automation rules to support vulnerability SLAs, KPIs, and risk
scoring.

• Collaborate with InfoSec, IT operations, and application teams to drive vulnerability

remediation workflows.

• Maintain detailed technical and process documentation.

• Provide operational support, including troubleshooting, platform optimization, and

enhancement planning.


Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including 2+ years specifically in Vulnerability

Response.

• Proven experience integrating VR with tools like Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, MID Server configuration, and ServiceNow development.

• Strong understanding of CMDB relationships and impact analysis.

• Familiarity with vulnerability lifecycle, CVSS scoring, and risk management.

• ServiceNow CSA certification required; CIS–SecOps certification preferred.


Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile delivery and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITOM or GRC is a plus.

• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and other cybersecurity frameworks.


Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate across multiple technical and business teams.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
