About The Role: Howdy! Painting Pictures is searching for a talented Senior Account Coordinator to join this small but mighty (and fast-growing) agency. We partner with festivals, venues, restaurants, and culture-driven brands across the country – with deep roots in Texas.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Austin, with flexibility for remote work.

This position is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level PR professional (1–3 years of experience) who’s ready to pitch media daily, create standout online content, build an extensive network of media contacts, and gain hands-on experience supporting live events, small businesses, and other cool cultural projects across Texas and beyond.

You’ll work directly alongside our agency founder – learning how to plan campaigns, manage clients, secure big stories, and ultimately grow into an Account Executive role.

What We're Looking For:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in PR and communications (past PR experience is required!)
• Ability to work full-time in Austin, Texas
• Comfortable pitching media and fostering those relationships
• Efficient at writing short- and long-form copy
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Eager to learn and grow through mentorship and hands-on campaign work
• Passion for music, live events, and cultural storytelling (late nights and festival weekends included!)
• A solution-oriented, get-it-done mentality
• Experience with social media is a plus!
