Description
Zynga is seeking an outstanding individual in the contract role of Senior Graphic Designer to work alongside our Ad Monetization team in crafting engaging mobile ad experiences. This individual will arrive at Zynga with a portfolio of work highlighting their ability to build appealing compositions that deliver impactful messaging on behalf of the brands they represent. The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for the production of assets tied to live and prospective marketing campaigns — featuring prominent international brands — as well as internal team collateral. This individual will be frequently asked to deliver high quality, engaging designs on abbreviated timelines, working closely with other Designers, Project Managers, Account Managers, and Software Developers. This role will report to a Creative Director. Main Responsibilities include creation of presentation slides and social media assets on behalf of Zynga’s Ad Monetization team, contribution to the growth and definition of the team’s brand positioning, design layouts for rich media ad units and additional mobile ad formats that lead to engaging experiences for users, communicating the merits of work to various team personnel, designing assets to meet creative briefs with minimal direction, representing the team in internal and external creative reviews, following brand/style guides for brand partners and internal teams, working with the Creative Director to conceptualize and iterate on compositions for mobile platforms, and staying attuned to industry tactics and standards to define team processes. Required Skills and Experience include 3-10 years of graphic design experience specifically in brand identity and mobile ad units, an online portfolio aligned with the role, advanced experience with Adobe Photoshop, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Google Slides, strong communication skills, high independence, advanced knowledge of design principles, ability to iterate on feedback, ability to meet tight deadlines, teamwork focus, at least 2 professional references, and being based in Eastern Time Zone or flexible Central/Pacific Time Zones. The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is expected to be between $40 and $48 per hour, with base pay varying by market location and candidate factors.
