An “American Idol” contestant and mother who went viral for bringing country music singer Carrie Underwood to tears with an original song about overcoming postpartum depression revealed the gift and handwritten note she received from the reality show judge.

Hannah Harper, a 25-year-old Missouri native, advanced to the next round of “American Idol” following her rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” during the show’s “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame” night on Monday. Keeping with the theme, 11 contestants performed songs by Queen, Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer and other rock artists.

By the end of the night, Harper was one of nine contestants remaining in the competition.

Before her Monday performance, Harper shared on Facebook the gift she received from Underwood for making the Top 11 — jewelry from Tiffany & Co. with a handwritten note. The “American Idol” judge sends gifts to all contestants who make the Top 11, People magazine reports.

“Didn’t think my first piece of Tiffany & Co. jewelry would come from Carrie Underwood,” Harper wrote in the Facebook post.

“But truly, the part that got me the most was the handwritten note. That meant more than anything. Just her taking the time to do that. … It says everything about who she is,” she added. “Y’all, she’s as down-to-earth and genuine as they come. Just a good, kind human. I love her dearly.”

In the handwritten note, Underwood congratulated Harper and called the contestant an “inspiration” to women and moms everywhere.

“I cannot wait to see what God has in store for you [and] I am so blessed to have a front row seat,” the country music singer wrote.

Earlier this year, Harper’s audition for Season 24 of “American Idol” went viral after a clip showed Underwood crying when the mother sang an original song titled “String Cheese.” The song details Harper’s experience with postpartum depression after the birth of her third child.

“I remember being on the couch. They were all crying at the same time,” the mother of three said in a clip about the song. “All I wanted was to be a mom, and I couldn’t do it. I was praying that the Lord would calm my spirit. I got up off my couch, and I wrote this song.”

Underwood was shown grabbing a tissue and wiping away tears after listening to the song alongside fellow “American Idol” judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

“Well, that’s just about the most relatable song I’ve ever heard,” the country music singer said in the clip.

Harper also earned praise from the “American Idol” judges for her performance last month in Hawaii. The 25-year-old mother sang a rendition of the faith-rooted anthem “Ain’t No Grave,” with Richie telling her after the performance that she “went from singing to preaching.”

“You got our attention,” the reality show judge said. “You did a great job.”

Underwood also complimented the contestant, saying that Harper’s voice gives her “chills.”

“We got a glimpse of a fire that is in you,” Underwood said. “The more you go through this process, I hope to see more of [that]. You remind me a lot of myself when I was on the show. All of a sudden, things would be falling apart because I was thinking about what I was doing. Try not to. Just tell the story and don’t worry about what any of this is doing.”

Fellow judge Luke Bryan told Harper he “loved the whole performance,” adding that the Missouri singer appears to have created a new genre of music called “resurrection rock.”

“I think your voice is so listenable. It’s so easy on the ears, and then, finally, we see you get a little more power behind that voice,” Bryan said. “You’re showing me you’re ready to branch out and grow.”
