Charlie, Erika Kirk allegedly contacted Catholic priest after learning witches placed curses on him

(LifeSiteNews) — Charlie and Erika Kirk sought out a priest friend to pray over Charlie after learning that the radical feminist media site, Jezebel, had hired three witches to place curses on him.

The witches were hired via the website Etsy to hex Kirk in late August. Jezebel then published its now-deleted story about its hiring of the witches on Monday, September 8, and Charlie Kirk was killed by a sniper’s bullet just two days later.

“Erika and Charlie Kirk heard about these curses, and that news genuinely rattled Erika, in particular,” said Megyn Kelly, who recounted the story as told to her by Charlie’s grieving widow.

“Charlie and Erika Kirk had a Catholic priest pray over them the night before Charlie was killed, after an article claimed Etsy Witches cursed him,” noted Catholics for Catholics (CFC), who posted a brief clip of Kelly’s Tuesday podcast.

“Evil must be fought with proper spiritual warfare!” CFC added.

Erika “knew Christian teaching on this subject. She loved Charlie absolutely, and she was scared when she heard of the curses Jezebel had called up, so much so that she and Charlie contacted a friend who I believe she said was a Catholic priest, but definitely a friend and asked him to come over and pray with them, over Charlie, the night before he was murdered,” Kelly said.

According to Kelly, after the third witch had been contracted to curse Charlie Kirk, the witch sent the Jezebel writer “proof of the hex she had cast, ‘a photograph in flames, the edges slowly curling inward, engulfing Charlie’s ridiculous scrunched up little face.’”

In the article, the Jezebel writer said that “I want … to “ruin his day with the collective feminist power of the Etsy coven would be my life’s greatest joy,”

“So, did my Etsy curses work?” the Jezebel writer wondered. “Time will tell … For now, we can only trust in the timing of the great unknown … and to you, Mr. Kirk: May the rash come swiftly.”

After taking down the article following Kirk’s assassination, Jezebel said that, nonetheless, it stood by every word. Kelly interpreted that to mean that, contrary to the claims of its editors that they meant no harm, the publication did in fact “want him cursed, they wanted everyone to hate him, they wanted it to be powerful, and they wanted Charlie, ‘punished for years of regressive rhetoric.’”

“You’re playing with fire, messing with this stuff,” Kelly warned. “There actually are demons in this world. Calling up the spirit world, in particular the devil’s spirit world, can actually have real world consequences. … This is dangerous. It’s not a game. It’s literally evil.”
