(LifeSiteNews) — Joining me on this episode of The John-Henry Westen Show is LifeSite journalist Dr. Maike Hickson. We discussed the Third Secret of Fatima, hints that the true secret may have revealed apostasy in the Church and warned of the Second Vatican Council, liturgical abuses, and more.

I opened the episode by asking Hickson about some of her latest findings on the Third Secret. She first noted Cardinal Raymond Burke’s recent homily for a Mass commemorating the 108th anniversary of Our Lady’s third apparition at Fatima in which the prelate spoke about the “practical apostasy of our time” as central to the Fatima message, when the word “apostasy” does not appear in the text of the supposed Third Secret revealed in 2000.

“That was a stunning remark because he speaks here about a public practical apostasy. And as we know from the published secret, the supposed Third Secret of 2000, apostasy, the word does not appear in the text,” she said. “So he actually adds something that is not in the three secrets of Fatima, as they were given to the three shepherd children in 1917.”

“Our Lady talks about repentance, about the sins of men, about upcoming wars, you know, if we don’t mend our lives. But she doesn’t use the word ‘apostasy.’ And of course, we see it in front of our eyes,” she added.

Hickson recalled how a 2024 interview with prominent exorcist Father Chad Ripperger was shared with her, in which the priest, based on parts of the secret he had heard (that he was at liberty to speak about), Our Lady warned about extraneous elements of the liturgy, which we’ve seen since the Second Vatican Council.

I noted how stunning it was for a mainstream exorcist to be saying these things and emphasized that it shows how the idea that the Third Secret hasn’t been completely revealed is not some far-fetched conspiracy.

Hickson underscored that what Ripperger said in that interview is very similar to what Father Ingo Dollinger, who was a close friend of then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, had told the Fatima Center’s Father Paul Kramer and confirmed with her about the true Third Secret, namely that it discusses the altering of the liturgy and the Second Vatican Council.

“They have no connections, Father Ripperger and Dr. Dollinger. And Ripperger himself, after hearing from the circle of Ratzinger,” she said. “It confirms, in a sense, Dr. Dollinger’s story, because Ripperger gives credence to the claims that there’s something about the council and something about altering the liturgy.”
