The pro-life movement is still mourning the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk.

We are praying for his wife, and the two young children he leaves behind.

Today is my birthday and, as I reflect on the years that have passed, I realize how grateful I am for the time God has given me with my wife and children.

It breaks my heart to think that Charlie’s son and daughter will never see him again.

Our grief for Charlie’s children is particularly poignant, because it was for children and families that he fought so hard.

Most parents want what is best for their children. We want them to be happy. We want them to advance, like the young Christ, “in wisdom, and age, and grace with God and men.” (Lk 2:52).

But liberals want something very different for children.

And that’s what our battle is all about.

The essence of liberalism is rebellion against God. The liberal, like Satan, says “I will not serve.”

He refuses to submit to any order outside himself. He wants our children to do the same.
