Hey there— I am Mary Kendall, and I work for Arise Africa, a non-profit that equips, educates, and empowers the youth in Zambia to dream and achieve a life beyond their circumstances.

Upon graduation, I thought I would work for some marketing agency and spend my life working “up the chain”. But in His generosity, the Lord opened a door at Arise Africa. I spend my days sharing what God is doing in Zambia with our passionate supporters and potential donors. This looks like managing emails, social media posts, printed materials, event marketing, the whole shabang. Sure, I could throw around terms like "brand cultivation" and "strategic communication," or tell you all about my “skills” but honestly, our content does the talking.

You can find critiquing the layout and fonts on a restaurant menu (guilty pleasure), brewing coffee in the morning (and at 3pm…), or antique shopping in good-ole’ Fort Worth, Texas!
