We are seeking an ASE-Certified Master Technician who will serve as the technical automotive expert within Carma, providing essential technical support to customers, Carma Partner Centers, and internal teams. This role requires extensive automotive knowledge and the ability to translate complex technical information clearly for fleet operators and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Customer Support. Provide expert-level automotive technical assistance directly to clients, ensuring accurate, clear, and timely resolution of issues.
Diagnostic/Additional Recommended Services Review. Conduct in-depth reviews of vehicle diagnostics to validate recommended repairs including parts and labor, ensuring accuracy and fairness in quotes provided to fleet customers.
Partner Center Support. Collaborate directly with Carma’s vetted service centers, offering guidance on complex diagnostics, and ensuring compliance with Carma’s quality standards.
Cross-Team Collaboration. Work closely with Customer Success Managers to handle technical inquiries effectively. Partner with software engineers to integrate automotive expertise into product development. Regularly communicate with senior management to provide essential automotive insights influencing strategic decisions.
Process Optimization. Identify opportunities to streamline technical operations and contribute to developing robust standard operating procedures (SOPs) and automated solutions.
About You
ASE-Certified Master Technician. Comprehensive mastery of all vehicle types, including Gasoline, Diesel, and Electric Vehicles, with expert proficiency in the A1-A8 ASE certification areas
6+ years experience in the automotive industry
Proven ability to clearly communicate complex automotive concepts verbally and in writing, emphasizing precision and professionalism to effectively engage fleet operators and internal teams.
Exceptional diagnostic skills and extensive experience reviewing complex vehicle repairs.
Expert in automotive repair databases such as AllData and MOTOR.
A proactive attitude with a problem-solving mindset—ready to jump in and help where needed.
Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment under time constraints.
