Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for establishing, growing, and executing creative content for Tootsies, with a primary focus on graphic design across both digital and print channels. This role supports content creation, social media management, copywriting, and influencer marketing initiatives, while ensuring brand consistency across campaigns, stores, and all marketing touchpoints. The ideal candidate is design-focused, highly organized, trend-aware, and comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality digital and print creative assets, including email layouts, in-store signage, website banners, social media graphics, event collateral, and promotional materials.
- Plan, create, and execute digital and print campaigns that align with Tootsies overall brand direction.
- Manage and support social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and new platforms as they arise.
- Design and create corporate email campaigns to reflect seasonal direction, events, trends, and department/store strategies.
- Engage with customers across digital channels to build community and drive engagement.
- Maximize revenue-generating streams, ensuring brands and products are available and reflect the Tootsies aesthetic across all platforms (excluding Tootsies.com).
- Leverage expertise to train and assist stylists with graphic design and social media practices as needed.
- Create engaging text, images, and video content across platforms.
- Provide clear, compelling copywriting across platforms, including e-commerce content that supports conversion and SEO.
- Define social media KPI’s, analyze performance, and deliver monthly reporting to the manager.
- Establish strategies to increase relevant followers and build a loyal following by interacting with audiences on all social media platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and bloggers for collaborations; work to secure free press mentions.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams to identify priority categories, brands, and products for digital and print campaigns.
- Collaborate with Buying and Marketing teams to support seasonal strategies and ensure consistent execution across channels.
- Monitor competitor and industry activity to identify design, content, and platform trends.
- Stay current on graphic design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Participate in event coverage to create content and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Additional responsibilities may be added as the needs of the business evolve.
- Ability to work and attend events with a flexible schedule, including varied hours, evening events, and weekends as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is required; familiarity with basic video or motion tools is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design and digital and print content creation; fashion or luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, public relations, advertising, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and Facebook, from a brand or business perspective.
- Basic understanding of influencer marketing and content partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to write professionally for varied audiences and consistently meet tight deadlines.
- Strong visual eye with attention to detail, layout, typography, and brand consistency.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Candidate must exhibit a strong sense of professionalism, courtesy, and a friendly demeanor.
Education:
- High School education or equivalent.
