Description
About Bizee
Bizee (formerly Incfile) has helped over a million entrepreneurs start and manage their businesses.
Now we're evolving from a formation service into an AI-powered Entrepreneur Operating System, connecting ambition to action through intelligent systems that simplify complexity, anticipate needs, and give founders the freedom to build faster.
We move fast, stay close to the customer, and build with heart, hustle, grit, and humility, the same traits that define the entrepreneurs we serve.
The Opportunity
Bizee is scaling fast but we don't yet have a unified people strategy, operating model, or leadership layer guiding how we hire, develop, and enable talent. As our Head of People Operations, you will architect the people systems, culture frameworks, and operating rhythms that turn Bizee into a high-performance, high-ownership, mission-driven organization.
This is a strategic builder role at an inflection point in the company. Not maintaining legacy HR building the future People engine from day one. You will drive clarity in how we hire, onboard, communicate, perform, and scale.
You will be the culture architect, operator, and force multiplier who shapes how Bizee executes.
Requirements
What You'll Own
- Design Bizee's People Operating System. Define the frameworks, rituals, and rhythms that drive alignment, accountability, and high performance across the org
- Build a scalable talent engine. Partner with leadership on workforce planning, role clarity, hiring models, interview loops, scorecards, and decision frameworks
- Oversee hiring operations. Manage recruiting partners and internal processes to ensure fast, consistent, structured hiring across all functions
- Architect the onboarding experience. Define high-velocity onboarding that accelerates time-to-impact, reinforces culture, and sets clear expectations from day one
- Lead performance & development systems. Implement performance cycles, manager enablement, feedback systems, and development paths tied to outcomes and accountability
- Shape org design in partnership with leadership. Advise on structure, leveling, spans/layers, capability planning, and how teams evolve over the next 24-36 months
- Manage People Ops infrastructure. Oversee vendors and internal systems (HRIS, payroll, benefits, compliance) and guide future decisions on the people operations stack
- Champion culture and change — embed Bizee's operating principles (Heart, Hustle, Grit, Humility, No Fluff) into hiring, performance, communication, and decision-making
- Be the connective tissue of the org. Reduce friction between teams, improve communication flow, and drive organizational clarity and cohesion
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team. Bring insight, judgment, and objectivity to leadership decisions, people matters, and scaling challenges
What You'll Bring
- 8-12 years in People Ops, Talent, HRBP, or similar roles supporting high-growth environments
- Experience owning People Ops from the ground up building systems, processes, and org frameworks
- Strong organizational design and talent strategy instincts; ability to simplify and scale
- Ability to coach leaders, improve managerial effectiveness, and elevate performance culture
- Excellent judgment and EQ able to diagnose people issues, navigate complexity, and create clarity
- Operational excellence. Structured, consistent, and excellent at reducing friction through systems
- Hands-on builder mentality. No ego, no fluff, focused on making the organization faster and better
- Deep alignment with Bizee's values: Heart, Hustle, Grit, Humility, and Transparency
Success Looks Like
Within months, Bizee operates with greater alignment, clarity, and momentum. Hiring becomes structured and consistent. Onboarding accelerates time-to-impact. Managers have stronger performance rhythms. People systems are simple, scalable, and reliable. Employees feel connected, informed, and supported.
And you become a trusted partner to leadership, a culture enabler, and a force multiplier across the organization.
