IT Identity + Access Management Analyst is responsible for managing and overseeing user access to the company’s IT systems and resources. This role ensures that access rights are assigned appropriately, maintained, and monitored to protect the organization’s data and systems from unauthorized access.
- Create, modify, and delete user accounts and access permissions across organizational systems and applications.
- Provide technical support for access-related issues and troubleshoot problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of access management processes and procedures.
- Manages user identities and ensures proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place.
- Handles access-related incidents, investigates security breaches, and implements corrective actions.
- Works with various departments to align access management practices with organizational needs and policies.
- Maintains detailed records of access management activities and updates documentation as needed.
- Develops and manages role-based access control policies to ensure users have appropriate access based on their roles.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two to four (4-6) years IT job related experience is required.
- 2-3 years of experience in IT access management or a related role.
- Good understanding of Active Directory for Account Administration
- Working knowledge of ticket tracking tools and workflow products is preferred.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) systems. (Required)
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified
- Information Security Manager (CISM) preferred.
- ITIL Certification (Preferred)
