Christian Healthcare Ministries

Founded in 1981, Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM) is the nation's original health cost-sharing ministry — a nonprofit organization through which thousands of Christians across the United States and around the world voluntarily share one another's medical bills, just as the early church shared each other's burdens as described in Galatians 6:2 and Acts 2 and 4.

CHM is not a health insurance company. It is a community of believers who pool their resources each month to meet each other's healthcare needs — a living expression of the body of Christ caring for one another in practical, tangible ways. Since 1981, CHM has shared over $12 billion in medical bills, returning more than 90 cents of every dollar received directly to members for their healthcare costs.

Monthly memberships range from $115 to $299 depending on the program chosen, making quality healthcare sharing accessible for individuals, families, and self-employed Christians who want an alternative to conventional insurance that aligns with their faith and values.
