In today’s world, many people are searching for something real—something that brings peace, hope, and a connection with God. The Live Behind the Veil podcast is doing just that. It's not about being famous or getting thousands of followers. It's about helping people feel God's love and hear His voice.
The team behind the podcast recently joined the Acts Social Podcast for a powerful conversation. What they shared came from deep personal experiences and many years of walking closely with God.
The people on the Live Behind the Veil team—Ron, Ken and Lois Boney, Gue, Mike Rickenbacker, Ed, and others—have each walked with God for 40 to 50 years. Their faith has been tested, and they’ve gone through many challenges.
As Ron said:
“If you're going to speak a word from the Lord... you're going to go through the wringer.”
That means their words don’t come from a textbook—they come from real life. They've been through hard times, and God has met them through it all.
One thing that makes their podcast special is how it flows naturally. They don’t plan strict messages or sermons. They let the Holy Spirit lead the conversation.
Ken and Lois explained it like this:
“We don’t preach. We live the Word. We speak what’s in our hearts, and it brings life.”
Sometimes they listen to their own recordings and are surprised by what they said because it came directly from the Spirit. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being open and honest with God.
Gue shared something important:
“I can’t travel far anymore, but my heart and my spirit can still reach people.”
The podcast is their way of reaching people all over the world—from their own homes. Whether someone is hurting, searching, or just curious about God, the team hopes their words will bring healing and hope.
Mike reminded listeners of something Jesus said in the Bible: Revelation comes from the Father. That means God speaks directly to each of us.
“We are spiritual people living in a physical world,” Mike said. “God wants to show us who we really are.”
Back in Bible times, the first believers didn’t have a Bible to read—they were the Bible for others. They lived God’s love in their daily lives. That’s what Live Behind the Veil wants to do today.
Ron made it clear that they don’t focus on numbers. It’s not about how many people listen—it’s about who is touched.
“Even if only one person listens and meets the Lord, it’s worth it,” he said.
Shawn Whitson from Acts Social agreed, saying:
“If just one soul is changed, all the effort is worth it.”
This shows how deeply the team cares—not about success, but about impact.
Ken and Lois reminded everyone that God cares especially for people who are hurting, weak, or feel lost.
“God is calling every person. We’re not trying to be special—we just want to share His love with the world.”
Their heart is to help people find a real relationship with God.
Even though the team posts their podcast on YouTube, their main focus is the audio. As Shawn said:
“The Spirit doesn’t need video. He just needs our voices and our hearts.”
The message is what matters, not the technology.
It’s easy to find them. Just search for Live Behind the Veil on any podcast platform or on YouTube.
They also have a website where you can learn more and listen to episodes.
Near the end of the talk, Shawn joked that maybe their podcast should be called “The Message in the Mess”—because so often, that’s when God shows up. Not when life is perfect, but when it’s messy.
That’s the heart of Live Behind the Veil. It’s about real people, real stories, and a real God who still speaks today.
